I’m the "it" girl of the plant world - a houseplant so trendy I’ve made it on the covers of all the home décor magazines that matter. Fame is fleeting for some, but I know people take just one look at my paddle-shaped, glossy leaves and realise they just have to take me home.

First discovered in Western and Central Africa in humid tropical forests, today I’m present across Japan and the Caribbean, where I thrive thanks to the mild temperatures and warm sun. While I definitely prefer to live outside, I am capable of compromise - well, sometimes. If you install me in your home, I’m a tiny bit of a diva: I prefer lots of bright, indirect sunlight and warm temperatures to keep me at my best. No cold, dark rooms for me, thanks.
